New Furniture For The Dream Home

The kids at the Dream Home were delighted to receive a new set of furniture and beds.  The items were received in December 2016.

This was made possible through the generous support of:

OSLIN - Organization of Sierra Leoneans in Indiana:  $1500
James and Rugie (not disclosed)
Swaray and Beth (not disclosed)

Funds were sent in advance of the visit by Swaray and Nelson to pay for the furniture, mattresses and transportation of items to Dream Home orphanage. Furniture Donated - 12 Bunk beds, 24 Mattresses, Sofa/Chair Sets. Swaray and Beth provided additional funds in order to give each younger child $10 and each older (16 and older) $20 in cash to purchase items of their choice.

Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church members provided the suitcase and all the items inside.  A small bundle was prepared for each child (Gift Bundles included: pillowcase, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, underwear – for older boys – socks and undershirts, for older girls – socks, bras and tank tops Also – 2 soccer balls, ball pump, and first aid kit).

Dr. Cheedy Jaja made a presentation at the church in July 2016 and a goodwill offering was collected.  These funds helped purchase items that were not donated.  Each child receives a gift from church members who lovingly purchased items and prayed for the kids.

Thank you so much for your generous support!
