The kids at the Dream Home were delighted to receive a new set of furniture and beds.  The items were received in December 2016. Through your support, we have moved one step closer to purchasing a bus for the Dream Home. At this point, we have not raised adequate funds to get a bus, but every bit helps us get closer to the goal. We plan to continue working to raise the necessary funds to assist in the purchase of a 25-30 seat bus for the Dream Home. Your generous support helped provided the Dream Home with a new fuel-efficient, Wonder stove.   The new stove is 40% more fuel efficient than the traditional, previous stove. Consequently, the stove is already helping to save money, as it uses less coal. The new stove also reduces air pollution, providing a much safer and cleaner cooking environment. At the end of July, Sylvester made a 2 week project visit to Sierra Leone.  The Dream Home was one of the top reasons for his trip.  He reports on his trip as follows: "The trip provided me with the opportunity to observe, learn, interact and evaluate. I spent quality time with the Dream Home kids as a group and also on a one-to-one basis. I interacted with each of the kids individually.
